Suburban Faux Pas

Flowers don’t need a reason to be special and neither do you. The people who love you will love to celebrate you and all the goodness you’ve brought into their lives. You deserve to be treated to something nice, even if you buy it for yourself. That doesn’t make your bouquet any less special. Sometimes the only person who really knows what you deserve is you.

5.) Celebrate Your Accomplishments

Besides being presented on a date, bouquets are often given after major accomplishments, like a graduation. You don’t need to break barriers or crush records to throw a celebration for yourself. Little accomplishments like getting to work on time or meeting all your deadlines should be recognized like any other accomplishment, so buy yourself a bouquet and celebrate! Whether you’re recognizing that you washed your hair today or finished a marathon, don’t mark any accomplish down for size.

6.) Someday is Today

You never know what the future holds, so why wait for the little pleasures that flowers bring? You don’t need someone to give them to you. Get in the habit of breaking those unspoken rules and you might be surprised to find how many others do the same and treat themselves to things like the occasional bouquet.
