It’s no secret that everyone wants to look and feel their best on their wedding day. I am no exception to this rule. We got engaged a little over a year ago, and I swear the wedding has absolutely snuck up on me. There are 52 (ahh!) days until our wedding and it is time to GET SERIOUS about my fitness plan. Now, I’m generally an active person to begin with. I love to mix it up with yoga, hiking, swimming and many dreaded minutes in the plank position. But the pressure of The Dress is hitting me hard, not to mention the bikinis I want to rock on our honeymoon in St. Lucia. Brandon and I have been hitting the gym pretty regularly, but lately I’ve been feeling uninspired. When left to myself in the weights room, I’ve been known to kind of…lay around. I know I can be working harder.

Luckily for me, I discovered Les Mills On Demand. Les Mills On Demand, is a fun, effective and convenient way for brides-to-be to prepare for their wedding day. It’s an online service that provides a variety of group fitness classes and allows subscribers to be able to workout anywhere, anytime. Basically perfect for when you don’t feel motivated to get in the car and drive all the way to the gym. When everything you need is at home, you kind of run out of excuses. And I LOVE the group classes style format because I am pretty competitive and try to beat keep up with everyone in the video. It pushes me to work much harder than when left to my own devices. These are basically a mix between yoga, tai chi and pilates. BodyFlow is 55 minutes and the Strength version is a quick 30. Not only are they both awesome for toning (#bridearms) but also amazing at reducing stress, which is essesntially every bride’s resting emotion in the weeks before the wedding. A killer workout that leaves me relaxed when working on my seating chart? That’s a win-win for sure. What I also LOVE about Les Mills On Demand is that they provide the track list for the music playing during your workout. Sometimes at the gym a great song comes on but I can never figure out what it is. Problem solved here. They also have links for all the equipment you need (in this case it’s just a mat) and have videos on proper form and technique which is so important. Here are some of the other workouts they offer:
