Planning your wedding is without a doubt one of the most exciting things you will ever do. But between budgets and guest lists and garters, things can have a tendency to get a bit stressful. Self care is SO important leading up to the weeks of your wedding. Of course you want to look your best AND feel your best on the biggest day of your life, so you gotta make time to #TreatYoSelf. Ladies, it’s time for a spa day. I recently visited the Red Door Spa in Chicago and was blown away by my experience.

With the belief that beauty and wellness work in harmony to make lives better, The Red Door continues to expand, innovate and serve as a leader within the day spa industry.

The interior is SO cute and stylish. They have tons of great products everywhere and the salon in front is the perfect place to get a blowout or mani. I was there for the Red Door signature massage and was so impressed with my experience. The staff were so friendly and offered my the coziest robe and slipper to change into. I sipped on some fresh cucumber water while I filled out all of my preferences for my massage.

I was lucky enough to have Colleen as my massage therapist – she was named by Allure as the best massage therapist in Chicago! She was so warm and welcoming and worked out all of that wedding tension right out. I walked out feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to make my next appointment 😉 So ladies, next time you’re in Chicago be sure to check out the Red Door Spa. It would also make an amazing gift for a bride to be. Lesson of the day? Make sure to take time for yourself, inhale, exhale and carry on.
